What do you learn in Globaloria?
We learn a lot of cool computer stuff, like how to make games on Flash! We learn computer safety and all that momo jumbo!
Think about all of the skills you have learned over the past two and a half years. Name at least five of these skills.

How can these skills prepare you for a successful academic future and how could you use these skills to find a great job? Remember, you do not have to grow up and be a game designer to use the skills you are learning in Globaloria.

Kidnapping and Ransom (Human Trafficking)

This issue interests me because.....

There is a lot of Kidnapping going on all around the world right now and I am surprised how many people in the United States get kidnapped, we have to know why they are doing it!

I want people to learn this because.....

It is really interesting for them to know how many people are getting kidnapped each year in the United States. If I make a game about Kidnapping and Ransom it would express a lot of facts about it a lot better!

This issue needs to be addressed because.....

They're might people staying at places where a lot of kidnappings are happining and they're not even going to know about it, we have to do something about that!

March Of The Penguins

What challenges do the penguins have to overcome?
Survive from predators and the dad penguins to take care of their egg.
How does their habitat challenge their livelihood each day? The ice caps are melting and there are a lot of predators.
What types of adaptations do penguins need in order to survive brutal winters as well as predators? They need to be fast from predators and have blubber for the winter. 
Why is there a period of time in which there is practically no sunlight? What affect can no sunlight have on this region of Antarctica? Antarctica is on the other side of the world therefore the sun doesn't really give it sunlight but Global Warming is still affecting the penguins. 
How could climate change negatively impact the mating ritual of the Emperor Penguin? I would say that they have a routine so if the climate changes so would their routine?

Playing To Learn: Car, Sports racing

Cars, Football, Soccer, Basketball and people racing are example of things that might race. These games try to mimic the real world life. 


1. The Game that taught me a new skill or subject: The game "Basketballs" taught me a little bit about math.
2. The Game that taught me information about a new or existing social issue:"Atv Destroyer" taught me that there are some places that have a lot of litter
3. The game or games that I liked the best:
The game that I liked was "Basketballs" and "Atv Destroyer".
4. What happens in the game or games:
In "Atv Destroyer" you control a bike and you have to destroy some old cars that are in the middle of no where to get some points.
5. How you play the game or games:
You play "Atv Destroyer" with arrow keys and the space bar.

Playing to learn: Strategy

Strategy games need a lot of critical thinking skills and careful decision's. Strategy games could take a while to just complete one level.

"Bloxors" taught me more critical thinking skills.
2. The Game that taught me information about a new or existing social issue:I played a game that teaches people about some animals that are going extincted, but I don't remember what it was called?

"Bloxors" and "basketball"

In "Bloxors" you have to put a rectangle in a cube hole.
5. How you play the game or games:
You play "Bloxors" by trying to control a rectangle into a cube shaped hole with the arrow keys.
